jwar wrote:So the Tym pedals are worth it then?? I follow him on Instagram but I've never understood his pedals as they all look like they are the same? I think that's the gimmick though. Limited controls, but vast sounds. Did you do vids of that one?
I did a quick vid

I like it for its simpleness as most pedals that get the type of sound I need for a synthy sound are tweaky and temperamental.... Which is fine and all but I find it distracting on a gig :idk: so I'll take one good sound  as for there other stuff no idea :idk:

 it was a close one... My frustration with getting everything to sit right with my new rig was getting pretty bad :grumpy: going Away from a all tube amp has been a... a... challenge.... Effects don't harmodgenise the same way... I'd have stayed with the same rig if I was playing longer shows but with only playing a set or two all it will do is add wear and tear and repair/tubes.. But not playing a bunch of covers and blues vs originals is worth the life/tones adjustment :)*

I put together a monochormatic board and these guys play very well together. Really digging the Echo Dream and Throat Locust, which are the two newest pedals I have acquired. I have a Kinkilin on the way and am hopefully getting a custom pedalboard made soon. Very excited. :joy:

Love it. I never want to leave drop D when I play it! Very intuitive and the LED and silicon modes contrast each other very well. You can get the traditional HM2 grind in the silicon modes and then get more traditional heavy distortion from the LED mode. I was really excited that Earthbound was doing an HM2 because I am a shallow pedal owner and all the other clones I have seen looked kitchy/campy. (Which I understand is part of the metal genre sometimes, just not my style) And Earthbound always sounds and looks slick af. It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend anything Earthbound makes.
