First analog sounding delay unit that competes with the big box DMMs I have had but it has its own character and pushes forward with it's modulation options, delay length, and of course fuzzzzz. I really love it. It does the endless repeats/background wash thing really well. You can also get some wild flanger sounds out of it. I tried the Meet Maude and I hated the random modulation, having a solid lfo is where it's at for me. The Echo Dream really captures what I dig about the DMM and then does more than the DMM ever could.

EDIT: I want to mention that at extreme settings the modulation enters pitch pirate vibes. Which is wonderful to mess around with at longer delay times.

I wish mine was working properly.
If I have the fuzz cranked or even a distortion/drive/fuzz after it, there's some weird bleed coming from the modulation section that causes this insane motorboating. I sent an email to DBA, but they're taking a long time to respond.
The Echo Dream 2 has been my main delay since my last year of high school. :grumpy:

Really stoked on this combo. It's everything I need for writing songs at home, playing guitar with my buddies folksy thing, and for the occasional rehearsal of the punk band

Yeah I had that issue too actually. I hadn't explored the issue to see what was specifically causing it. I keep it pretty clean so I don't have to deal with it but it sucks that it exists.

Thanks! Mmmm not really. Pladask is just in my dresser. It's really unique from anything else I have. I use it a lot playing pseudojazz by myself, but i don't have any people to play that style with. I always consider going back to a big board, mostly to fit that and some reverb on here. Also might eventually ditch the mini to put the pladask back on, just feels so weird not to have the mini.

Revelation: jrfox identifies with Morty in this gif because he is a wee child.
