I bought one of those last year, without the fx though. Returned it immediately as the preamps were really noisy, too much for recording. Hope yours is better.

Well, they're supposed to be really quiet, but that's what everybody says about their preamps. I usually don't need them, but hopefully they'll be ok for microphone and pedals.

its soooo good, but one of the scroll buttons doesn't work fortunately Peter at Ciat already replied to my email and is helping me troubleshoot. this version used a LOT of surface mount components though, so I'm hoping its something simple I can handle.
