B.O.B. Do you have a Koma field kit or just you're own interpretation of one?

no, but it looks fun and I love Koma's gear in general. havn't really looked too closely at but I think somewhat similar along those same lines awhile back i cannibalized some old vcrs for their motors and fans and some other toys etc. for a little system I built around a couple bastl dc motor, servo and solenoid modules. but i really dig my Gieskes 317vcpre. Besides its preamp section which works great for piezo etc. it also has cv over dc output section for controlling small motors etc. real neat trick with it is the modded walkman it comes with, a little prep work and you can do 1v/oct tracking of what you have recorded on the tape.

Very cool! I've seen the tape 1v tracking before but not like that. So cool!

I secured some more gear money and opted for an affordable GE Buzzaround clone:

... and also ordered a USB data cable so I can finally upgrade my Zoom MS-70CDR to V2 firmware.

I didn't think that I would be buying an Ibanez with EMGs, but it felt really nice, has an ebony fb and the body shape grows on me everytime I look at it. Perfect guitar to steal Devy riffs with. No tone knob though... :idk:

I love that shape. Blank board is sexual, too.

Fuck yes.
Ibanez need to reverse those headstocks, though.
But, that grain...very sexy.
EMGs dont have to suck, its just that theyre generally used by people who do.

Stock EMGs on 7 and 8 string Agiles have sounded pretty phenomenal with Muffs, BeeBaas, and Buzzarounds. :idk:

Just concluded the latest gear shopping spree with a super-affordable SI-based Buzzaround clone:

Since it's Father's Day, I figured I'd treat myself to something. So I order a Molecular Compactor that was up for 5 minutes. :) Hahaha.

I'm happy!

Also, Happy Father's Day friends!

And a happy Father's Day to you too, Kansas, and to the rest of you crazy fuzzbreauxdads!

With the same rationale, I just ordered an Algal Bloom. I needed something different.

Peer influence via the cheap, trashy, old distortion thread and a discounted price led to one, last addition for now:

I almost opted to try the DOD FX53 again before concluding that an even more affordable mini LM308 Rat with true bypass switching and a 2-band EQ was a better choice.
