Maybe they'll do a Gunvolt and release the game and the demake (basically AM2R) as a package [they 100% will not do this but they should].waltdogg wrote: ugh, watching the treehouse live now for the 3ds metroid 2 remake. kill me. they should have just bought the rights to am2r.
I played the Marvel v Capcom demo and it's really shit. All the male characters are Liefeld chestbeasts with heads/limbs attached, most of the faces are worse than SF4, it basically plays itself and they put fucking Spencer from Bionic Commando in it. Who the fuck wants to see that guy again?

Wasn't the last one like a decade ago, though? I remember it being like Penumbra + shooting things. If they can capture the appropriate vibe and maintain it instead of turning it into yet another action game, I'd be interested.
Also, cautiously hyped for Metro. Haven't seen much else exciting.

Honestly, didn't think that I would be so excited for Dragon Ball FighterZ and Spider-Man. I feel like i'm 12 again.

I watched a video of some Bloodstained gameplay. It looks like a Symphony of the Night remake/sequel which is the BEST thing I could have hoped for. I'm glad I backed it on KS, but the wait is gonna be torturous.

We've been playing Rime. I love it! Personally, I think it is better than Last Guardian.

Well, I succumbed to Gamestop's Switch bundles, so I guess I'm getting Arms.

Right here. I added it to my library but never downloaded it. I came off an Overwatch grind into a GTA update, and my kids have me Rainbow 6 Siege Sunday so I've been full up and haven't needed Killing FLoor to alleviate boredom.worra wrote:Anyone with a PS4 on here? Steam sale.
I went MGS:V, Crypt of the NechroDancer, Bayonetta, Hollow Knight and Fallout NV.
Not sure why. once Destiny 2 releases, I doubt I will play anything else.

[Limited myself to Hyper Light Drifter and Raiden III. Probly shouldn't have even done that much.
edit
Nevermind, ended up refunding everything I bought. My backlog is never going to go away.

Re: The Video Game thread
Well, I'm finding that I really can't get into hardercore RPG games. Fallout (3, NV or 4), Witcher, Skyrim, etc....
They're all interesting to me and seem quality, but yet, I'm never compelled to keep playing.
Guess I have developed a preference.
I seem to prefer games that have some RPG elements, but are mostly looter shooters. Borderlands, Destiny, Diablo, etc.... (even overwatch, but I'm done with that game
)
Actually, the in the larger pictures, I don't think I like playing video games all that much. lol
I didn't really grow up playing. I had a nintendo, game gear, PS1 growing up, but it was never my first choice in activities.
I like to have "my game" at the moment. Play that when I don't have anything better to do.....but I'm not a "gamer".
I've been playing multiple times a week lately and it doesn't seem to fit me very well. Just get frustrated or bored.

Re: The Video Game thread
I used to be a hardcore PC gamer, and it was always online stuff.
Now I just want to chill and play a singleplayer game, similar to your preference. I liked Nuclear Throne but it's too hectic and chance-y to relax with, for me, so I started playing Enter the Gungeon.
It's awesome at first and then the feeling sinks in that any weapon or upgrade you get is more of a lateral movement than an improvement. And they're all really expensive. Just feels underwhelming and like I"ll never get any more powerful.
Torchlight was pretty cool...
