it's a lot like the Micro/Mini POG in that it can do up/down/both with different levels of mix.

Does the 12-string/Organ thing fine, too. $50 seemed too good to pass up.

Just got a Frazz V2 in the mail. Fucking hell this is an awesome fuzz.

I got it because I was recording a few weeks ago and needed a nasty, rippy part, so I used the engineer's Fuzz Factory. Sounded pretty cool.

Of course as they're all different, I plug in my FF at home a couple weeks later and it just fucking sucks. Hardest pedal to dial in. I really loathe that thing but somehow keep holding onto it because it's sentimental.

So anyway, ordered the Frazz, as it can cover that territory and more. Holy shit, so happy (albeit just an initial impression). The gated, low voltage sounds are excellent, but the lower gain fuzz also sounds fucking great. Stoked as balls.

You're right. I've got a Fuzz factory clone from years ago that never sounded good with my stuff, and I suspect had some temperature-based-component-drift issues. Loaned it to a friend and it RIPPED on his tiny solid state amp with his guitar.

Consistency is important. Another reason why I have no interest in something like the Fulltone '69 and other germanium pedals.

One of my best acquisitions this year! I bought this KORG OVD-1 for 50 EUR last week (prices are regularly above 100 EUR) and it came in today:

A reviewer wrote that it sounds not much better than a BOSS SD-1 with less gain, but for me - it may be because of the combination with my Marshall tube amp - it is a pure sweet spot. THIS is how I want an overdrive to sound like. It is even possible to sound absolutely clean with gain at minimum. I am really excited, because it has that violin like singing sound that all the Eric Johnson fans crave for - in my case it's the 2000s Jeff Beck sound that I absolutely love like in this video of his version of "Nessun Dorma": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdUdtpjv0ZI (you HAVE to watch 1:15 min onward for an unintended stunt! ).
The OVD-1 does also sound amazing with my Spanish classical guitar with Shadow Nanoflex pickup. What a great pedal! :!!!:

Gut shot:

I love the way those look. I like the switch mechanics on that range of pedals too.

Sounds like a damn cool pedal

Picked up a TENORI-ON from Australia because the US dollar is stomping the Australian dollar right now. Saved a bundle.

Plan to use it mostly as a sequencer. Bonk bonk.
