Finally got the last piece I needed to wire up these boards today. Pretty weird to look at these now that I think about it. For the longest time I built my home boards to have my favorite example of every kind of effect. Now I just have like five different kinds of three different effects since that's what I really want to use.

Also, question to whoismarykelly: can the Whammy Ricochet do the pitch rocking thing?
Like the bass here (first noted around 1:04, toe is a 7th up and heel is a 5th up):

It only goes from dry to whatever pitch you want so it cant start at one interval and go to another.

I really like what it does. Of course there could be some be-all end-all Digitech pitch product that had both Ricochet sweeps and harmony and a regular pedal and the drop function and fuck it why not also have a freqout on there too. For me the Ricochet captures what I cant from a Whammy in a tiny size and does things that are impossible to do with a regular whammy. I have the Pitch Fork for more pedestrian pitch shifting.

Do you ever use the Pitch Fork with an expression pedal?

I don't since that basically would do what the Ricochets do.

Yeah, but wouldn't you have greater control with an expression pedal? I'm not trying to get you to use one, I was just curious as to how well the Pitch Fork pairs with one and if you had any experience with it.

I've used it. I think in latching mode it sweeps from dry to the interval and then in momentary it sets the rate of the sweep to the set pitch. Its not functionality I would ever really use. I mostly use it for harmony pitches up and down. Usually octaves or fourths. The detune is also cool. I really dont bother with expression pedals. They're overrated and not worth the space in my experience and I vastly prefer simpler implementations like delays where you hold a switch to increase feedback.

The reason I'm asking is that the board I have planned, will feature one (a Reflex, cause midi synced LFO's) and the Pitch Fork barely takes up any space, so I could just have it idle on the board, should I want some clean shifts.

I don't know if I am, yet ;)
The Source Audio Reflex? 3 Exp outputs, CC over midi, LFO's, usb, etc.
