More like negative bone. Wait, no that's not right. Mega bone. Boner even.
Tone is in the finger tips anyway. Everyone knows that.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
That setup has bypass pedals, great cables, 4 dedicated buffers, 2 line drivers, some always on buffer bypasses. The tone is the same through the board or direct in the amp. Just have to do it right.vidret wrote:There simply can't be any tone left running through this. negative tone.weebles wrote:oh yeah this is totally normalnshuman wrote:I will post it later. Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
LOL It would be interesting for YOU to approximate cable runs, internal pedal wiring lengths, factor in bypass pedals/blenders/loopers that isolate longer chains. Calculate the effect of line drivers, buffers, etc. Then maybe calculate signal decay? Or, you know, whatever.vidret wrote:with the amount of distance your signal runs through bypassed solderings on pedals who cares if you have great cables
to be serious though, i'd be super interested in hearing a recording of you going through all of this, then taking the cable from your guitar and going into the amp.

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
And Jwar: tone is in the bonertip, doy.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
So, the signal chain is kind of simple and stays pretty short depending on what is or is not activated:
Top Level Chain:
Bass > SFX MicroThumpinator (HPF+Buffer) > Ploytune Mini 2 > SFX B3 > SFX Micro EQ (used as first line driver) > Broughton Broughctave > COG T-16 > SouthAMPTon Fifth Gear v2 > Broughton PowerStage > FEA DE-CL > H9 [Wounded Paw Blender V4 in effects loop] > Broughton Asure Skiez > Broughton JoshWah > CT5 > SouthAMPton Ictineo > Junction BOX > H9 > Broughton Archetype > Broughton Super Stack > Lehle DC Filter > SFX D][plomat > AMPS
---
Wounded Paw Blender v4 Chain:
A: CLean
B: Broughton Sentinel
C: Fairfield Barbershop > SFX Micro Red Dragon mk II > Broughton Azure Drive
D: Buffer Buster Ball Buster > SFX 42 > SFX Micro Fuzz > Broughton Pi > Broughton Sunder Fuzz v2 > Dunwich Volt Thrower > Broughton Bass Box > Cornish Buffer clone
---
Junction Box (bypassable) Chain:
Bypass Box > Board #3
---
Bypass Box Chain:
Cornish Buffer Clone > COG Grand Tarkin > SouthAMPTon Boosted Fuzz > Puhzing > MOOG Freqbox > Moog Ringmod > Moog LPF > MOOG Phaser > MOOG CLusterflux > MOOG Delay (104m) > MIDI MUrf > Back to Bypass Box
---
Board #3 (After bypass box but also in the junction box chain)
Cali76 G P > Hudson Broadcast > SOuthAMPTon All Things Equal v2 > Heinseberg > Broughton Transboost > Cornish buffer clone > Broughton AMplitude > Fairfield Accountant > Valve Caster v2 (higher voltage heaters) > Broughton Dunder Mufflin > Broughton PLL > Dunwich Wizard Fuzz > Broughton Terraformer > SGFX Imperial > MODEL 001 > FEA Photon Fuzz > DITTO > Beat Buddy > Broughton MONOBLOCK II > Broughton PHAETON > FEA DE-CL > Broughton HLPF > Broughton Studio One > Cali76 TX > SFX buffered splitter > back to junction Box.
I am probably forgetting stuff, but this is good enough.

It's a spartan set up because he has 300 pedals on his board.behndy wrote:a very SPARTAN SETUP.

Shows? LOL This is all strictly for messing around at home. My kids can use the pedals to build their own boards when they get older.behndy wrote:HAH.Inconuucl wrote:It's a spartan set up because he has 300 pedals on his board.behndy wrote:a very SPARTAN SETUP.

You know, to see what the difference might be (if any)
Sure, if I felt like I owed some sort of proof to some stranger on the internet.
