Sooooo, as many of you know i sold my "holy grail" Binson Super Special that Marcello built for me with 95% NOS parts because I needed some cash and I just wasn't using it enough to warrant a $4,000 delay. I've also owned an original Echroec 2 that was great but just had way too much warble due to it's age despite it being in good cosmetic condition. So the Super Special was the best delay sound i've come across yet and i've missed it. What i didn't miss was the look of it... it didn't have the mojo of the old units and didn't inspire me to use it so it just sat there.

Well, i've missed it and i've finally come across the exact unit i meant to buy from a guy on TGP originally and now that same unit is in France. It's barely been used at all and is also a version created by Marcello using all NOS parts. I've heard sound samples of it and it sounds just as good (IMO) as the Super Special i owned but also looks MUCH cooler. I love that it can stand up vertically, is super slim and you can watch it work as you're using it. I don't know... that kind of stuff is just important to me and i'm ok with that.

I wasn't planning on replacing my Binson since i'm getting the new Echosex T7E coming out next month but I saw this, realized it was the same one i originally wanted back in the day and saw that he already had a super discounted price. Well, i sent an offer i didn't think he'd accept and he accepted!!!! Getting this for literally half the price of what it costs new. So yeah.... i'm stoked.
