Nice, I love the falcon headstock.

Is that a new 6120 model?
I've never seen one with the volume controls on the lower bout deleted.

It's the 6136SLBP Black Phoenix, which is a Brian Setzer signature guitar, though thankfully there's nothing tacky denoting that on the headstock or anything. It's essentially a hot rod version of the 6136 Black Falcon, I believe. It's got 25.5" scale, 9.5" fingerboard radius, trussell bracing, single master volume and pickup switch, silver/chrome highlights instead of gold and TV Jones pickups. I think the Setzer Hot Rod models are similar, but different headstock, bracing and finish/binding, little lower price, more similar to the 5120 models I think.

Too bad you're on the other side of the globe, because I would be very down for a gear swap jam session. I want one of those Millimetric guitars...and an aluminum neck offset...and a Matamp, ha. I do have Mr. Grumpy though. I need to invest in an appropriate 4x12 cab to use it for guitar too.

Decided to make use of some AVRI Jazzmaster pickups I had. I had seen two Danocasters setup like this, and I've felt that the bridge pickup on Jags is always a bit lacking so a Jazzmaster pickup there would be cool. Definitely fattened things up a bit.

Every video of someone doing this online is usually accompanied by some other effect, so it's hard to tell what it actually sounds like. Usually kind of chimey drones.

There is a crapload of room under the pick guard in the jaguar, the rout is enormous. Do people ever hide gizmos in there like super hot pickups or something? I have some unused pickups, but none are very hot...the wiring is also crazy with the Marr wiring..dunno how I could stick another one in there...I do have an empty toggle switch on the upper horn though...maybe on/off straight to the output jack?

I've seen at least one video of someone who took out the Jaguar trem unit and put it in a hardtail plate with what looked like a Tele neck pickup in it.
