Moog ones are the best and have a comfortable amount of resistance to my fat feet

COOOOOOL I nearly bought one of these so many times over the past few months. I had one before I got back into pedlols but didn't gel with it whatsoever. I feel like I would be more attuned to it now.

Yeah I'm excited to compare it to/use in tandem with my SP303. And it was like £110 so really hard to say no.

Far less immediate than the SP series for sure, but it's a different style of sampler i guess, the ability to pitch samples over a midi keyboard is ace! The one thing I agree with others on is that the bitcrushing/distortion effect is kinda meh and it would be good if they gave an option to exchange that effect for a reverb or something. Getting grainy is hella fun. :snax:

After a very long gear drought, a Novation Mininova arrived yesterday. On paper it's the perfect affordable synth to compliment my Monologue, assuming I can survive the menu diving.

The only thing I can think of would be using a volume pedal since they're usually designed with that resistance in mind. :idk:

Or get one with a roller knob instead of a treadle. :poke:

Oh cool I've never used a volume pedal that way before. Do you just use any volume ped's output jack to your expression in? Can volume pedals work as CV controllers?

You'd need to make sure the values will work, also you'd want a trs to dual ts connector (input and output on the volume is connected to pin 1 and 2 on the potentiometer, with one pin grounding). I don't know how well active volumes would work either, especially with CV. :erm:

I had a mission ep25k that was spring loaded, so there was always resistance, and it would always spring back to the heel down position when released. I didnt mind it too much but it's not always practical.

A lot of expression pedals function with a 10k pot, but some of them work by splitting the voltage, so 100k should work in those cases. Usually they'll specify in the manual for the pedal.

lol. yeah. just got that email today. i mean, i WANT. NOW. but they are doing it RIGHT.

looks like they got inundated with orders, THANKS KNOBBY PIMP VIDJA, and i love all the updates and explanations. only asses would get pissed at smaller innovative builders being busy, and only time i've ever been frustrated is when it's lags with no explanation.

loooooove that they're doing well. MAKE MORE LANDSCAPE WEIRDY GOODNESS PLEASE.
