I dunno man, but mids are good.
They give you a place to appreciate the highs from and give you some perspective on the lows. They dont last forever, but they can feel like it.
We spend so much of our life trying to chase constant highs and running from lows its ridiculous.
Life just cant be that way.
That sounded corny and mediocre as fuxk, but youre smart, you know what I mean.
Shoot me a line if you want a chat man.

Mr.pope you are awesome. The high is that I have the internship of my dreams waiting, and I'm moving to the Netherlands on fucking TUESDAY. Gotta start packing. Low is that I'm dealing with my breakup worse than usual and I'm having a hard time getting over it. In a month or two I will dial up them mids when I progressively will get over her and compensate by being used to working with something awesome.

This is going to be a difficult weekend. Maybe the most difficult of my life. I can't even come here to relax anymore because of a toxic user poisoning topic after topic. Ugh.

I drank way too much coffee and it feels like I spent half of my afternoon going to the bathroom.

Life is hard.

This is my last weekend before full time dad status and I have nothing to do. Tinder doesn't have my back. Guess I'll just work and then hide away in the practice space and fuzz it up all weekend.

Which sounds fun, but I'm guaranteed to meet zero pretty ladies hanging out in my practice space.

But wtf would I even do with a pretty lady anyways?

had to order over $100 worth of tubes today in yet another attempt to get my amps running right. i'm getting really frustrated with noise and hiss. i'm starting to wish i'd bought one of the multiple JC-120s that they had for sale at Starving Musician in Santa Cruz circa 2010.

Heads up on your anxiety.
Like, you probably know, but, just, be aware its gonna suck.
Hopefully not too much.
Hopefully just a background suck.

You are about as toxic as rain, man. No, the gear section has an infection.

When you're about to go to your friend/bandmates wedding and you get upset stomach during the night, but hope it's just a one time thing, go back to sleep, wake up, have breakfast, shave, iron your shirt, tie your tie (effin hate tying ties! drives me mad!), dress up, get ready to go, but throw up again and have to stay home. Ugh. :barf: :( :barf:

Fucking Harvey. In-laws and friends are still in Texas--the Austin ones are gonna have it bad enough, but Houston is fucked. Harvey is some bad shit and I understand that it's expected to keep coming down into mid-week. The bayous are all at capacity, the streets are flooding, and houses are flooding. A huge amount of the housing in Houston is single-floor, so this is going to be dangerous.

Dry thoughts to our Texan fuzz breaux.

I've been watching that on the news, Houston is flooded. To all our people in TX, I hope you and your loved ones are, and will stay, safe.
