Overwatch Halloween time. Finally got that siiiick Witch skin for Mercy that i've been wanting for ages.

Yep. No doubt they just grabbed one off getty and thought it was a staged photoshoot or something.

For this kind of potentially touchy things, there's usually someone (art lead or other, depends on the project) who checks these things. Quite surprising that a studio like Telltale managed to let this one pass without anyone noticing.

And Breath of the Wild still takes 95% of my gaming time. The remaining 5% are Mario Kart...

I’ve recently gotten on a Fire Emblem Heroes kick on mobile. Trying to resist the urge to give in to the micro transaction trap, but I don’t know how long I can hold out.

Huh... the PS4 Pro is the same price as a Slim at my local JBHiFi.


Not playing at 4K, but I gather that it wouldn't be working as hard to play at 1080p so the noise would be drastically less. Everything that i've googled has confirmed this atleast.

PS4 Pro is pretty rad, so much quieter than my OG. Haven't got a 4k screen, but it seems to add some extra Anti Aliasing filters or 60fps on my games.


Though I don't know if it would be that worth it if I didn't get it for the price of a Slim.

I wanted to buy this and enjoy it because the first one showed some potential, but loot boxes on a single player game is absolutely absurd and I'm not able to get past it enough to give it a fair go.

On the other hand, finally trying Titanfall 2 and it's pretty fun actually. I usually hate multiplayer anything but so far this is pretty good aside from the relatively low player count and every single game mode being attrition.

Finished Oxenfree yesterday. Anyone else played that? Is the continue timeline/new game+ worth it?

The dialogue changes a bit, as if your character remembers bits from the previous playthrough. I liked choosing different responses my 2nd time. Want to play it a 3rd time to get the last achievement, to have everyone hate me at the end of the game. I don't normally replay games either or hunt achievements anymore.
