Here's my most recent board. Not sure if anyone cares but I thought I'd share. The only thing I may change is the Empress Reverb. I really, really like it but I want to get the Source Audio Ventris.

Is that a version 2 Stammen?

the metal master has a clean out so i use that to split the input and run the clean out to the metal zone.

The Metal Master is the only pedal I ever acquired that I don't currently own. It literally blew up the first day I bought it when I was 14 :sad:
I think I got it for $40 used in 2004? Which at the time was like a whole month allowance money for chores around the house. It was a sad day.

Man 40 bucks is not bad at all if it had worked! The metal master is the only pedal i have ever bought new from a physical guitar store (ie not online). I think it was like 169 CAD. (~130 USD?). Seemed very expensive at the time. It rips pretty hard though. I used to run metal master->big muff->the ge10 eq pictured. Pros: infinite sustain, cons:instant infinite feedback.

It worked when I brought it home, 14 year old me thought it sounded great (so 27 year old me would probably still think it sounds great...not sure what I was trying to do there), I fucked up the battery cable cause I'm a moron, I plugged it into my power supply I was using to power my Crybaby (My first pedal and I STILL HAVE IT), the thing went up in smoke. I was so shocked I wasn't even sad. I still use that power supply for that same wah (it was for a K'Nex kit).

I don't think I mentioned I love that set up you have now. Where is the Whammy?

damn. i haven't played all the "metal" pedals so i am not an aficionado but the metal master is indeed pretty nice sounding.

and tbh i had to lay off the whammies for a while. i have not bought one yet in 2017.

kinda waiting for used prices to drop a bit more on the version 5s, then might get 1 more. They really are better than the version 4's though so i suspect that's why they still hold decent value. Also they use normal 9vdc power supplies which is great.

Why yes, yes it is! I believe I was one of the first, if not the first to receive one. It was a trade for those amazing Hogweed's I did for Drolo. That pedal is seriously awesome guys. CONSUME. You all need to pop over to the Shark Tank CONSUME and grab one before it's too late. It's sooo damn good. Easily one of my favorite fuzzes of all time and I don't say that lightly. It's a good price too. CONSUME. I mean, I'm being serious here. Plus I only made like 5 of them I think, maybe 6. I made myself one too, but one they are gone, that finish is gonzo. Sooooooooooooooooo
