Yo that's rad. I dream forever of setting up something like that.

How useful is the es5? I imagine extremely, but I'm hesitant as I think lots of things sound really useful

It’s a very powerful tool. I was in a spot where I would often want to go from the distortion channel with no effects to the clean channel with several effects. I play a Mesa Dual Rectifier so I had this enormous four button foot switch that I would have to change a channel on and then turn effects on. Then off again to go back to distortion.

So the ES5 lets me bundle pedals into presets. The order isn’t really relevant as the ES5 lets you change the order. It’ll even let you put something parallel with another loop.

The setup isn’t cheap but with the push of a button I could turn anything on and off. So I took it a little further. I use MIDI out on the ES5 to an RJM Mini Amp Gizmo. This allows me to use the ES5 as my channel switcher. So no it’s one stomp to turn anything and everything to my desired settings.

The pickups are Seymour Duncan Pegasus/Sentients but I’m going to be swapping them for a Blk/Tri Torch for the Bridge and a Ghost Coil for the neck.

The pick guard is original but I think I’m gonna get a new made by pickguardian. Black with sparkle flakes.

Just checking out the product site for the ES-5. The "Analog circuit design to protect your pure tone" and "Protects the Purity of Your Precious Tone" almost sounds like a fuck you to the you-know-who types*

I'm sure it'll change again in a minute if I hang around here much longer, though.
This is sweet!

I think there is something seriously wrong with me, I haven't changed anything in over a month and I have completely stopped hunting Ebay, craigslist, and reverb for gear because I'm content with the sound I'm getting through what I have.

Tuner, Dirge treble boost, Silencer (because the Submarine is gated and doesn't work with another gate after it), Freeze, A or B box to switch between the rat and the submarine fuzz, Feed me, Depths, Alter Ego delay. The pedal on the bottom is a remote switch for the freeze and the big blue thing is a TC voice box. I'm running it all straight into the FX return of a beta lead and a peavey penta cab. The beta's fx loop is before the master volume which is why this works.

The Feed me is Awesome, I used a modified GE-7 for a long time but even with the mod it created a lot of unwanted hum. The feed me is dead quiet and although there are a ridiculous amount of tweaking to be had with it I found it fairy simple and quick to dial in the sound I wanted.

My only complaint is that the knobs are a little too close to the foot switch for my liking. I might put together a little one button loop pedal just for the piece of mind that I won't accidentally bump the tone knob when I switch it on.

oh thats probably why they rearranged the knobs on it recently, makes sense. Thanks for the response, I definitely keeping my eye on them!

Yeah that's awesome. I love those little Orange Micro stacks too. Kinda wish I kept my Micro Dark, but oh well.
