After this's all over, I hope the U.S. gov't bills Trump for the damage he's done to our reputation

Well...I hope that's not true. I think I have an auto immune disease and I really, really need to get into a doctor.

Five years at best. Three for the scheduled term to end for this nutball, and then if a democrat gets in I would expect at least another two years of arguing in Congress to figure out how the government can actually help real people and not just themselves or corporations.

Re: Modular (Synth) America Great Again!!!
I've been thinking a lot about this too. So far, for us, I'm thinking unless my wife gets a unionized govt job again...probably not. I think, as far as financial responsibility goes, we're tighter as a household than probably 90% of people similar in age and demographic to us and we haven't been able to afford health insurance since I worked for my family's business. Which was pretty much a gift, in all fairness. I could get insurance through my work, but it would be something like $300 in premiums for our family and I couldn't find an extra $100 in our monthly budget without buying less food or not turning the heater on in the winter. We already get some food costs subsidized through WIC for the kids (bread, eggs, cheese, milk, cereal, peanut butter). The only way I can figure it working out is if my wife waits until both are kids are in school full time, then she gets a full time job again (because the cost of child care is probably about the same as she would make a part time job)...we might be able to afford insurance and even pay the bill* if someone gets sick.Jesus Was a Robot wrote:I want to have health insurance again. Do you guys think we will ever get to a point where I can have it?

Now can we please round up all the Trumps and deport them to a distant asteroid?

I’m of the impression that they’re like a slightly more advanced form of tardigrade and would thus be immune to living on a hunk of space rock, and could possibly even contaminate other bodies in our solar system.

move to Massachusetts? We've had state mandated/sponsored health care for years!
