I gotta figure out how we're going to set up live. Right now the three of us just all face towards the center of the room all looking at each other. Probably won't work on stage but the drummer and I sometimes use little visual cues to change parts. But I cant really turn my back to the audience. But I don't want to face directly forward either because I get a little spitty when I'm doing vocals sometimes.

Same here. A substantial part of our music is based on improvisation and/or relies on visual cues like nods and stuff. On large stages we (guit and I) switch sides and place the boards diagonally facing the middle of the stage for a similar situation.
