I really like ring mods, this one has been interesting so far but I’m mostly using it mixed in low for extra harshness and it’s sick for that. Also stacking a POG into it is insane. It does not like more than one note at a time in the best way.

Oh I love ring mods. But the gonk isn't a pure ring mod. It's a hybrid and I'm sure it would be fun enough for me. I want a ring stinger.

Dude my Boneshaker is still sitting on the 'I play these shits every day' table in my living room. It's such a quality-ass device. The EQ on it alone is worth having it on deck, the rest is just icing on the cake. You'll love that fucker. It really compliments each guitar differently so you have to spend some time with each.

Yeah, I'm amazed I got rid of the first one. Glad I got this one so cheap. I'm not ditching it any time soon.

A fella traced it years ago and I got the bbd chips and transformer for it already. I'm going to etch my own board for it here eventually. It's the best ring mod ever. Thanks for the link dawg, I truly love ring mod.

Edit: in hindsight I think the bbd chips were for the flange with no name. I got the parts is what I mean:)

I abused the Cyber Monday sale (and these damn things never go on sale) to finally get a set for my 339 to go with the two on my Les Pauls.

Long live my Robot Overlords. 20% and black like the ones on there already...how can I say no?

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

Hate the auto tuning system Gibson uses. I've always found it to be quirky and off. Maybe it's improved over the years though. I always though it was really gimmicky.

I'm certainly not bashing it or anyone who would like to employ it's uses, but it's definitely not for me. I just got a guitar with sperzel locking tuners on it Nd I'm a big fan of that. It stays in tune pretty dang good considering it's 9 to 80.

9 to 80 on like an 8 string?
