Im guessing this has something to do with my fathers bile duct thing, which makes him cough. Hopefully I didnt inherit that.
That sounds awful, dude. You might want to talk to a doctor, but lot's of water sounds good. I have acid indigestion, and water is the best cure I have found.

A couple spoonfuls of baking soda in a glass of water works well for acid reflux. I've had it for years, on and off rx pills, and the baking soda works wonders on those night when it's keeping me awake.

We have mice in our home. Caught 4 already. Just heard another one in the wall. Motherfuckers.

Same.
AFAIK, there's only one, and that's dude's fucking weird.
He just suddenly pops up every once in awhile then just hangs out and doesn't make any noise for a long time.
I thought he suddenly died until he scurried across the floor while I was making breakfast and disappeared.

I wish ours were cute and adventurous. But we have a dog so they stay hidden. I thought our fridge was making some strange than usual noises but when I heard the pans under the stove making noise I knew what was going on. Caught two in a cabinet, one under the stove, and the 4th bastard was in our ductwork. Pretty much taunted me while chillin in the ceiling register.

There are also some pretty crazy "Vintage Mousetrap" video compilations on Youtube, but some members may find them offensive so I won't link to them. Lets just say if you've ever had severe mice problems in a home or car, the videos become less and less offensive by the day
I wish there was a nice way to rid a house of mice, but .. there really isn't. You pretty much have to go Vlad the Impaler on them.

Update: father has something called GERD. All my symptoms bring up the definition of GERD when typed in. Bright side is im still young so its easily treatable.

Dumping coffee amoung other things for tea to start. That shit with cream was mad soothing. Was able to sleep through the night without any sort of heartburn. Theres a little happening now that im awake, so im just gonna have more tea.

My cat found a mouse family and killed the newborns one by one before finally killing the mother. She is fucking evil.

My dad used to put out these wire cage gopher traps for mice at the house we lived in after I was about 9, that was way out in the middle of nowhere. Instead of smashing whatever set it off, it impaled it with tiny sharpened metal forks. It was pretty horrendous, because we would find a little mouse in them and it would either be gruesomely impaled (sometimes say, through the face) and dead or it would impaled and STILL ALIVE. My mom eventually made him switch to glue traps, which were new and supposedly "more humane". The first time we found a tiny severed mouse leg on one. The second time the mouse was still alive, my dad ripped it off, tearing off the mouse's feet, then dropped it on the porch and stomped it. I count these among many "all the kids are crying, while dad does something" memories, sub-category: small animal murders.

Your cat or the mother mouse?

Don't kid yourself about there only being one mouse. That's not how they operate.

Yeah if it's an every night thing that's a bit different. I would get an upper GI tract check. That's what I had to do.
