How many Frazz versions are there?
And are there any small changes between the same Vs?
How does v1 v2 v3 differ?
I played one years ago and from my poor recollection the new one is nothing like what I remember.
Could also be cool if there was an archive of all the old stuff on the site.
Thanks!

v3 is a huge jump forward from v2. Definitely get the new one!
Worth noting he made small adjustments along the way. I mailed my v2 in at one point because Ryan wanted to update it slightly.
v3 had the most sounds to choose from, and is super easy to dial in.
Just in case it's not already clear: I'm LOVING the v3!

Frazz versions
Hi folks, in the absence of any real info this is what I've learned.
The proto type had two knob and is still owned by Ryan.
Despite V2 having been released last year there are a bunch of revisions. I can only go on the obvious external appearances but there maybe more revisions to the circuits.
So here we go:
V1.0 had three knobs, took a 9volt battery, and sounded raw as fuck: V1.1 had a mix knob added and no gate switch. This might be the same as the Bazz Dazzler?: V1.2 had the gate switch added (but no expression jack): cont.

Then v1.3 had the expression jack added. Some versions have 9-18 volts printed on the top, some have 9 volts written in pen by the jacks, the later green sparkle ones have 9 volts printed on the top:

And finally v2.0:
I'll update this as I learn more. Maybe

They've never taken 18v. I mean, they don't blow up at 18v, but they sound shit. IIRC.
So it was a misprint.

It was definitely a misprint. He posted about it quite a bit at the time.

From the manual:
"Your Frazz says it can run at 18VDC but it's a mis-print, I'm sorry. It's safe at that voltage but it's not biased for it so it sounds really weird and not as intended"

I always use 9v with everything anyway.
