Yeah, seems that way.

I kinda want it, but don't think it's worth the extra scratch.

Yeah, I don't need another Perc but that HP2 is tasty.

No, I just meant the limited edition black version.

OK I thought I was maybe missing something haha. It looks cool but not worth the xtra $$$ to me. Pedal does sound awesome and I'm interested in the regular version.

You are correct, sir. The V3 Cafetiere is a keeper. I was a bit concerned when it arrived with a poorly fastened gain 2 footswitch, and the LED on the same side was intermittent, but all was well after tightening a bolt and toggling things twice.shikawkee wrote:I've got it. The peep purple (Chank-friendly) chassis and cotton candy pink knobs are delightful, as is the veritable bounty of percolator textures within. Clipping modes 1, 2, and 4 are my favorite of the lot. If mode 1 (germanium?) could exceed unity gain, I would almost have no need for another perc variant.

Re: Been a while since we had a HARMONIC PERCOLATOR thread,
So, AZX309 sent me a new switch to replace the one I busted, and I soldered it in

The different clipping modes all sound great, and the pedal overall is fantastic. He nailed his design goal of making this controllable from the guitar (both in terms of control knobs and touch), and overall it is at the upper end tone-wise of all the Percs I've ever. If I had to pick another Perc that was most similar tonally, I'd say Dirge, but it really is yet another unique take on a circuit that is obviously sensitive to slight circuit changes.
I've been so stoked to find great builders like AXZ309 and DRock up in this thread!

Me too. I'm such a sucker for black or silver/polished pedals in general. On par with your purple fetish maybe.Chankgeez wrote:No, I just meant the limited edition black version.

Mine came with a funky power input but my tech fixed it. My tech says it wasn't the best wiring job he'd ever seen but dang, it does sound good!ck3 wrote:You are correct, sir. Re: Been a while since we had a HARMONIC PERCOLATOR thread,
Very tempting. The Cafetiere V3 will likely quell my Percolator hankering for a good while. Either way, I wonder if a DRock tourbox would be possible (may have been mentioned a few pages back).Chankgeez wrote:Yes, their purple pedals look nice!

Two different V2 Zander SiClone fuzzes I got from the same UK vendor had mini toggle switch issues. Apparently, he had a bad run of parts from a supplier he no longer uses.shikawkee wrote:Mine came with a funky power input but my tech fixed it. Re: Been a while since we had a HARMONIC PERCOLATOR thread,
I would do a tourbox no problem. Let's get 5-10 people on a list and make it happen. I am only going to build 13 percs total so doesn't make sense to do many more than that on the tourbox. Also I will be keeping one because these things sound incredible and also one is going to ty segall. So basically 10 left to build and sell but I am happy to let you guys try out the ultimate perc.
