It's an all-analogue guitar synthesizer from the late '70s. It has a real oscillator and analogue filter, etc. It works with any instrument if played monophonic. No extra pickup needed! Basically it's a slimmed-down mix of a KORG MS-20 and a KORG Sigma. It has an "Instrument" section with six modes that mimick a few traditional instruments (not bad at all!) and a "Synthe" section with classic waveforms. All of these modes can be activated at once to achieve quite complex sounds. Every mode has an adjustable parameter and surprisingly that's enough to get tons of different sounds, because of all the combinations and the resulting interaction. Pitch and filter cutoff can also be controlled externally. The CV and trigger inputs and outputs make it compatible with other synth systems. It is such a well-thought-out instrument. For example you can use a momentary footswitch to hold the synth sound as long as you press the pedal, or another footswitch jack allows to activate the set interval (for example +7 semi-tones) when you engage the pedal and it comes back to the normal tune when disengaged. Awesome! I will have tons of fun with it! Here are a few more pics:
