I'll tell you, ok I have few "boutique pedals", but with time I got fed up with 95% of all the boutique builder: just crappy super-expensive clone of cloned pedals most of the time.
I find more challanging and way creative to use commen ceap pedals combined together to create my sound
I hear ya.

- Too many controls for subtle tweaking just keep me from playing guitar.
- True bypass switching is overrated, and it's usually an easy mod anyway.
- Fancy graphics: Couldn't care less.
- $: One booteek superfuzz/percolator/rat/muff = Three or four equally good sounding cheapos.
- Build quality: I have yet to see one of my plastic chinese pedlols fail on me. And cheap old Boss/MXR/digitech/DOD peds are build like brick shithouses.

Boutique stuff rules too though :)

Final pedal line up for February . . .

Yesterday the Arpanoid arrived, today the Spatial Delivery. My hope is that I spend March playing and recording and wait until April before buying anything else, but if the Purpll and Fabrikat are released . . . *sigh*

Boss yes, but I’ve got three DOD out for repair with those crappy switches (2) and one (1) with a burst capacitor. Great pedals but they are a pain to keep functional.

I have no doubts that my old Boss phaser, CS-2, HM-2, will live forever.

Are you playing through the amp that's down at your feet?

Made some changes and I think I'm finally done for a while, since the Classic Jr is basically maxed out and I am happy with everything on it.

Signal path is Polytune > Fuzzolo > Four Eyes controlled with Mooer mini expression > Data Corrupter > Pharaoh > Apollo II > Mesa Stowaway buffer (under board) > amp FX loop > In Limbo III > Flashback 2 w/ MXR Tap > Drifter > Polara.

Whoever here first turned me on to the Limbo (don't remember), thank you.

The DOD pedals with plastic switches are definitely an issue, but the older MXR-style DOD pedals are really solid. Don't know how Digitech ended up on the list, though...

Current board. Got a Your & You're in the mail and made an offer on a PC10 but for now this is it.
I'm sure you all know what these all are except for a few.
The small one is a custom fuzz made for me by Lamp Electric, and that Arion is the SPH-1.
Signal chain is from right to left on the bottom, then the same on the top

That's rad, Mr Imperial Pint! Or by large beer are we talking about a 40oz? Either way looks like fun. I miss my Julia and Palisades

It's way fun. That's really the purpose of this current band, honestly. Because it's just a side thing for all of us we don't worry much about being cool and play whatever sounds good at the time under various influences. I guess generally it's sorta heavyish and psych inspired, a little Elder, Wooden Shjips, Dead Meadow and Tool in a shitty blender, that kinda thing.
