lol i'm sorry that i missed this, gotta post more here.spacelordmother wrote:First post, considering death over missed pedal opportunity. I have a Hollow Earth, it is awesome. I passed up buying an Anti Nautilus (or rather tried to negotiate the price down) and missed it. Still want to kill myself over it lol.
yeah i got some nice pedals off this super cool dude who was selling some fun stuff on Reverb, he probably posts here to be honest. he had some really rare stuff, I picked up a Rand-o-matic off him too. He sold a Vessel's End on Reverb and had the Nautilus and I missed both. The Vessels went for 400-500 and I think the Nautilus ended up selling for 750 (I offered him 650 and it was gone in like an hour). Totally would've bought it for 750, the price he gave me was fair, I just figured I could get a little off since I'd already bought a couple pedals off him and then poof it was gone!
will keep holding out hope that we get more from SC, although if there won't be any more SC pedals built than schematics/pcb/coding would be the next best thing for sure.

I love cloudscapes, but I assure you other pedal makers have picked right where SC left off.

Re: Whatever happened to Sonic Crayon pedals?
I would agree with this. There have been some amazing granular/glitch pedals that have come out in the last years! Maybe none of them reproduce the nautilus perfectly, but close enough, they often have other characteristics that it doesn't.Inconuucl wrote:I love cloudscapes, but I assure you other pedal makers have picked right where SC left off.
I think if I start pedals up again it would be with the mechanical sun delay (rather than yet another batch of the old nautilus). Aren't too many delays like it out there just yet. Any future successor to the nautilus would be a new design/interpretation. I look at the old one now and all I can think is "wow there is SO much that could be done better now".
Started tinkering with diy again a couple weeks ago. Playing around with an OLED. Hooked it up to a crazy organic morphing LFO I started at the beginning of the year for modular.

The Sonic Crayon Europa Rezonator(tm) is unmatched in quality, I would go buy one today from [redacted].net if I didn't already have one! You should buy one too! This is in no way a shit attempt at advertising! I'm not here to be your friend!goroth wrote:Reported.D.o.S. wrote:UglyCasanova wrote:Depends. Are we still chatty and chummy?

Oh yeah that would be a great idea. Nothing comes anywhere near it on the whole market today...cloudscapes wrote: I think if I start pedals up again it would be with the mechanical sun delay
