I just had a quick look, because I had a feeling I'd seen a shot of the inside, and here it is:

Yea I get the board is turned sideways
I simply meant with top mounted jacks that had to be a tight squeeze in a 1590b(?)...and if you look, it is
I can appreciate good measuring can't I?

Top jacks are difficult in 1590Bs for me with multiple pots. I usually get the long shaft pots and then remove the dust deal, and then I use the open frame jacks from Tayda. It's 7/16" up from the edge for the centered hole, then I file the lip off the lid. Just fits.Jero wrote:Yea I get the board is turned sideways

I certainly appreciate top jacks Jero

I need to look into those square ones. I use the plastic frame stereo for expression jacks usually, but those aren't as small as the ones pictured.

I've used them once (those jacks) https://lovemyswitches.com/1-4-mono-jack-lumberg-klbm-3BetterOffShred wrote:Top jacks are difficult in 1590Bs for me with multiple pots. and they are certainly nice for things like that. I typically just use a 125b regardless, so it's a non issue.
It always impressed me how Ryan (Dr Sci) got what he did in the Frazz and other small boxed pedals.

Yeah those are great jacks! I should order some now that BLMS is only a few hours away.. they shipped fast even from new York.
Some guys are real wizards at cramming stuff in small boxes.. I however .. am not.
I like XX boxes for stuff with multiple rotaries and more than say 4 knobs.. but I use a ton of BB boxes. I want to see a Into the Unknown in a 1590B.. hehe.

Ordered a batch of 3 prototype boards for my first attempt at copying a circuit for home use (Seppuku Memory Loss V4/Horizontal). I'm 90% sure I got it right. I keep cross-referencing the original, but it's such a mess in there and I've been staring at it for 2 days straight now, I just can't be bothered anymore.

Purps, just for Chank.

It's really fun, I need to figure out the sequencer more though. And get a delay/chorus pedal for it.spacelordmother wrote:Monologue is awesome, and I don’t even like monosynths!Somnambulance wrote:Sold a pedal, bought a Korg Monologue. I AM EXCITE
Listen, the WORLD is my board. All of the pedals are on it, just out of my reach..

Paul_C wrote:*sigh* so the Magpie/Behringer has been in the UK since Monday but still hasn't arrived, and the Arcadiator was paid for on Monday but was only posted today![]()
As a consequence I *had* to do something to cheer myself up - and all being well I shall be visited next week by the two pedals above plus a Digitech Ventura Vibe.![]()
Which reminds me, I need to check to see what I have in the way of power for them all !
The cheap power supply + daisy chain I ordered from Amazon arrived first despite being ordered last

The Behringer is still somewhere in the UK (probably stuck in Customs) but not here

Hopefully the Ventura will ship today and turn up tomorrow.
