GOTTa be better having one on the Board! That thing sucks on guitar! Sounded great with synth though. I’m glad I’m out of space and like all my stuff, else I’d want one of those too...Ruiner wrote:Picked up this guy the other day and it’s awesome having an EHX Mel 9 in the rack!

I thought Rene was going to be my first module too, and still haven’t tried onekbit wrote:Ive aqcuired a Rene. It's weird because this very well could be the module that convinced me to get into modular/euro in the first place. I just had my first jam with it and wow... driving the clock inputs with Tempi and throwing various gate patterns from my SQ-1 into the mod inputs opened up such a giant world with so few variables.
I'm so fucking stoked right now

I love the X/Y sequencer in Reaktor, which is what convinced me to give eurorack a try.

Reaktor Blocks and its sequencing ability in general has been the only thing stopping me from diving into modular for a long while now.Dark Barn wrote: I love the X/Y sequencer in Reaktor, which is what convinced me to give eurorack a try.

Re: Can we talk about modular synths?
this was fun, sort of an actual song thing -

Pluck sounds GOOD. i like it a lot. it's a biiiiiiiiiiiit hard to tune with such a small tuning knobber, but it's nice to have almost a Rings String Thing in 2hp.
and Drezno is SO GOOD.

Re: Can we talk about modular synths?
PayPal fuckin' with me trying to get my modular on.
They say "Regulations require us to take a closer look at some transactions. Your payment is temporarily pending while we review it."
I think it is because I bought something called SEWASTOPOL and Russia needs investigation.
In an ironic twist, I bought something actually FROM Sevastopol last week and that did not get flagged for investigation.
Anyway, this is fucked up and bull shit.

No way, this literally happened to me when I bought my Sewastopol! I actually had to send them more info (literally just sent them the link to the product page)mr. sound boy king wrote:PayPal fuckin' with me trying to get my modular on.

So Mutable added their special sauce to the Turing Machine but Stages looks like the way more interesting module...

I have a feeling that the Marbles/Stages combo is going to be killer

It's definitely the best in/out module available. Super useful for integrating other instruments into your system.mr. sound boy king wrote:Whaaaaat. Yeah I preordered Marbles. Thank fuck I didn't impulsively order that O+C earlier this week.
A full image of Stages also leaked and it looks killer. MI has asked that those images be removed for now so I won't post it here BUT it looks like it'll be a fantastic compliment to this. Reminds me of Just Friends a little but with a different control set.
Still looking for a new rack that will satisfy my needs. Grr.

Re: Can we talk about modular synths?
I’m not really understanding the programmable quantizer. It wants the user to play notes into it and it will know the notes we want the voltage to quantized to somehow? What if we want a note that the quantizer ignored and pulled the voltage the other direction? I don’t get it but this looks pretty darn cool otherwise. I’m interested in learning more about stages too
