IN: Ibanez WH10V2 modded by Wilson Effects.

Always wanted this wah ever since way back when Stadium Arcadium dropped in my early teens. John's wah tone is something I always dug, but the price of an OG model and the problems with the reissue kept me away from it for so long. But this completely changes things. Modded for true bypass, knob for boost control, new switch and BOOM. Shit sounds great man. Really like the sort of "synthetic" nasally sound. Shit sounds beast on the solos I do requiring wah stuff.

IDK if imma cover it in tape or not. :p

I used to have a '79 ST-50 and besides just looking cool, I loved it for being essentially a Gibson style guitar with 25.5" scale. I had planned on upgrading the pickups in mine and making it my main guitar, but someone on a FB group randomly made me an offer for twice what I paid for it, so I took it. I still kind of miss it, the whole look with the sunburst finish is just perfect to me.

Thats why I jumped on it. Im a fender guy at heart because of the scale length, but i LOVE me gibsons, just wish they were 25.5. Hopefully this is the perfect combo for me. And the pickup covers look amazing! The guy thinks the pickups are some old school gibson tarbacks

MXR makes this pedal. Dude actually knows nothing about electronics. So, it's basically MXR using him to sell and calling it something different. lol

Same here, I really prefer Fender scale length, but love the look of Gibson style guitars and the sound of humbuckers. Unfortunately the only middle ground between those is usually PRS, which aren't really my style (except maybe some of the S2 line recently). I had bought some boutique pickups to slap in the ST-50, because the stock ones were really bright and shrill, but ended up getting that offer. So I put the Avedissian pickups I got into a cheap Ibanez super strat and I play that all the time now lol. I kind of wish I had kept the ST-50 and just swapped the pickups, like I planned. I have a Carvin Super Strat that plays and sounds perfect for heavy doom/stoner stuff I like to play in B, but I wish I had something that played and sounded similar but looked more like the ST-50. I think Dunable guitars has a model like that, with similar scale length/specs, but I'm not about buying any more custom instruments in the near future. It's a lot of buy in to try something out, I've ended up selling almost every custom instrument I've had made eventually.

I have a custom body made back in Jan of this year and the seller kind of ripped me and just left a bad taste in my mouth. The body is amazing and sounds great but now i dont really want to play it. Custom guitars are just too much of a crapshoot. Im hoping the pickups in this guy rip, if they are gibson tarbacks and I hate them im going to yank them and sell em. Ill probably throw a set of vintage output BKP's in it as I have a set of Riff Raffs that have killed in every guitar Ive put them in, plus theyd age them to match

I think the bridge pickup on those are F-spaced, but otherwise they're just humbuckers. So lots of replacement options if you don't like what's in there.
