One of the Mooer amps-in-a-pedal thingies arrived today, I'm actually impressed! It sounds great and drives me closer to my goal of minimizing my set up in size. My only complain is that the channel switching has a noticeable delay, but I'm pretty much only using it clean, so no loss for me. :snax:

The minifooger analog delay came today, I've played it for a total of 10 mins, but it's fantastic. I haven't messed with the expression jack yet, but I'm sure that'll be dope.

I have Geiger counter interests. I look forward to your appraisal
Don't read too much into it if he flips the first one he gets. It has MIDI. That usually means a flip.

Haven't gotten to try it out yet, but a DOD FX96 came in the mail yesterday... V2 that doesn't self oscillate, but I'm cool with that. Apparently has mojo parts inside (MN3005) so I'm expecting pure nirvana...

Side note - didn't realize SMD was being utilized back in the late 90s. Weird to think that tech is over 20 years old and some people still think it's too new and mysterious.

Eh, I don't find it mysterious, it's just not very easy to work with on a small builder or hobbyist level.

Opened up my buddies Denon stereo receiver yesterday after it quit working, has probably 8-10 through hole discrete component boards and then an smd HDMI board shoe horned in there .. I was surprised as well

My comment was more directed at the group that think a piece of gear will sound inferior because of the construction style rather than judging it based on design and execution (or, you know, the actual sound).

At, true that. Yeah good luck getting any good J201's anymore that aren't SMD.

I don't really believe in mojo components other than the very real placebo effect they give the buyer :thumb: ..

God damn it's a nice sounding delay. I got another hour with it last night while watching Forensic Files, and it just sounds so good. Infinite repeats without a toggle is ok.. I like the functionality but on my rebote 2.5, I took it right to the max before it repeats infinitely and then threw that resistor on a toggle and one for infinite on the other side. It's not major but you definitely have to dial it in. Love the tone
