Warpsmasher wrote:Gate length determines how long Yep stays on for, so it will stay going as long as you're holding your button or whatever down, and short little triggers aren't going to last long enough for any kind of extended release.
That's gate length at the clock input, used as clock sub...so a trigger will only keep it bursting for the length of the trigger pulse, which is too short for extended bursting. So gates and squarewaves are best. A squarewave lfo used as a clock will keep it on for the same length of time that it's off. Envelopes work good because you can change the sustain of the envelope to affect the length of the burst.

well, they always ship quickly so i might have one to play with by this weekend? excitements. i have.

annnnnnnd the first Shipping Annoyance from moving. got a text that my Deluge would arrive a day early, which is AWESOME.... if i still lived next door to work, where i ship expensive things. but the window was "PROBABLY between 2.45 and 6 pm". used to be i could put a note on Work Door to ask them to knock on Home Door. but now i'm 6 minutes away, and don't want to hang out 3 hours hoping they deliver.

like. not a REAL problem. rescheduled for it to be dropped off tomorrow, but. you know. neat to have new toys on days off.

"you could have it left without a signature?"

yeah. no. shizz costs almost a g. shop is not in the hood, but who knows when people grab Rando Packages.

Hmmm. I see that PCA has the 84hp cases too. I still feel like I want to wait for the 104hp's because it's hard to fit a Metropolis and Atlantis, plus everything else I want to have.

I've actually been digging a lot of the demos I've seen for some more Intellijel stuff lately. Morgasmatron in particular. Rainmaker continues to tempt me but I don't think I can have that AND a Magneto in a rack.

Also, as an aside: I've become quite disillusioned with my Magneto lately. My Prophet Rev2 goes through my El Cap before it hits my interface and I love adding it to any patch (adds a thickness and ambience), but I haven't found the same success with the Magneto. I don't think the Rainmaker is the answer either. I think I just really miss my DLD.

Looking good! Structure 270 is built like a tank. Definitely a beefy case.

Man, I am dumb. If I want independent CV volume control over four things I should get a VCA x4, right? Like http://busycircuits.com/alm009/ ?

Yeah. Intellijel Quad VCA or Mutable Instruments Blinds can do that too.

yessuh. VCA's for ALL the level adjustments.

lol. YESH.

i'm already in love with this thing, and i haven't even used it to control the modulars yet.

the main first two synth parts and half the drums are internal Deluge'ins, the rest are Bitbox, Akemie's and E352.

Or Mutable Veils - for the stated purpose you don’t need the bi-polar VCAs that you get with Blinds... but on the other hand, I love Blinds.
