i WANT to like Folktek stuff? the design is beautiful and super into New Weird Idea Attempts.

but the two i had i was not having fun with.

also, kinda skeered that the Swarm might be turning into a Fuck-Off-Ware Kickstarter fail thing. they were supposed to put out an update like 2 weeks ago, they haven't said anything publicy that i can find in a month or more, i emailed them on Friday, no response.

KS said Ship In April when i pledged. hope it ends up happening. soooooon.

For what it's worth, I've know Marc (the Eowave guy) a bit for more than a decade and he's a good guy. I also played the Swarm at the latest Tokyo Festival of Modular (with only a few modes in though) and it sounded and played great. It's very likely just a communication issue (not great I agree but not catastrophically bad), they've been in the electronic music instruments/controllers/sensors business for longer than basically 95% of eurorack manufacturers...

Also, I just posted this on Muffs, but they did post a fairly recent picture with the QS in it, so it's still a thing. Keeping up hope that it's out soon, but an update would be really nice

Update on my O_c repair situation: I still don't have a tracking number for my return unit but the guy said he'd throw in one of these for free for my trouble, so if that ends up happening I'll be a pretty happy dude: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/conjured- ... oak-dagger

Filter + pre and post drive circuits. Could be fun maybe?

If Brian could make PY in a module, I'd be a happy camper :poke:

Until then:

I believe he has hinted at that being a possibility in the future in a thread on here somewhere. I'll be buying one immediately when that happens

hurm. that actually..... raises QUESTIONS for me.

what pedals out there have CV control? i know the Koma, not super excited about setting up a discrete 1/4 to 1/8 adapter solution, but that's doable. the short delay and step filter INTRIGUE me. i never loved any of the Moogerfoogers i had, don't even remember if they have CV. who else does?

like. i MISS my Endangered Audio AD4096 (numbers are HARD), is there either a module or pedal that sounds as good? preferably with CV control? nah just grab another AD?

how is the Chase Bliss delay? it's analog no?

Geiger counter, Goatkeeper, Pretty Years, the big box Empress pedals. Most of the Lightning Wave pedals have a CV out also. I'm sure there's more.

Chase Bliss all do, Tonal Recall is analog and great & you can map CV to whatever.
Dwarfcraft Happiness/Twin Stags have both in and out, The Curse will send and receive as well when that comes out :)*
Adventure Audio Outer Rings takes CV, they've got some kind of guitar/modular synth mashup device coming soon too from what I've heard.
Fairfield Meet Maude takes CV and Randy's Revenge definitely sends it, I'm not sure about receiving
Count to 5 and Your & You're both accept
Red Panda I'm almost certain
All of what Worra said too, I think that's a pretty accurate list from companies I'm familiar with. Maybe Alexander on their Neo series? I'd be pretty surprised if they don't given the attention to detail on those things.

Also going on tour next month doing modular stuff, if you live in the southeastern US there's a good chance I'm coming to your state :)

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!
