I’m not buying anything until I get settled I to my next apartment, but that should be soon, a few weeks.
I read somewhere that you can get gates at the start of every new stage. Somewhere in the Muff's thread. Tons of extra little tidbits in there. I am very, very tempted to order one now, but I'm resisting the gas!
Also, behndy Marbles is a bit like Grids/a clock generator/divider/multiplier on the left and a bit like three Turing Machines on the right.
Edit: also kind of realising that I need Stages to pair with my SMR. I could do fun things with that pair
yeah...... i ordered a Stages. that DivKid vidja. OOF.
i'm pretty sure i want to get 2 eventually. a 12 step sequencer, TWELVE STAGE ENVELOPE SILLINESS. it's pretty crazy what one could do with it.
Marbles is... i dunno. just doesn't grab me? probably will try one at some point, but Stages is way more seductive.

also, holy SHITS where have you been all my life BD 101?
i mean. i had one before, but it was when i was playing bass into it. with a sequencer spitting gates into it? oh Sweet And Salty Baby Buddha Butts. YESH.
Trigger Riot is sending gates into the BD 101 square gate (i really like using a stackable to connect a slower out to a faster out, then leave them both on so the slower adds little groovy pauses, or so you can switch between them with the mutes), Voltage Blocks is modulating the delay parameters.

Just Friends is wonderful. Drones like mad, using different harmonic outs for FM is and I love listening to out of phase lfos give this elasticity to a sound. And reading the manual just shows so much in here to discover...

Deluge having its own sounds and effects is cool but I don’t know how often I would use any of that. I love the layout of the Seq. The ability to sequence all in one place is great for me but you lose a lot of the more sophisticated sequencing options in day the Digitakt or FLXS1.
Yeah I haven't even checked out Plume mode yet, excited for that. As a rhythmic modulator it's wonderful. I stuck a couple triggers from Tempi into it and took all the outputs to control timbre parameters and delay amount on a simple sequence and it added so much depth to it. & Changing the time control a bit gave me rhythmically related but different modulation. So playable. I really like that the functions don't retrigger during their cycle to keep things like that less repeitive, but having the ability to alter than behavior in the Shift mode is a nice touch too.
Lots to learn, lots to learn.

yeah. i have always lusted for a PolyEnd but.... not any more. Deluge is just amazebutts. same large grid layout to be able to see up to 8 parts of a beat per 16 steps (at up to 64th note resolution)? or 8 notes in the scale per 4 measures? OR program in a keyboard laid out in 4ths so since all i barely know is bass it REALLY makes sense?
LOVE.
and i like the synth engine so far. i haven't gone much further than lightly tweaking the included drum kits and synth patches, but it's got some STUFF.
giving it another week or two to make sure it's not Just Honeymoon Phase, but..... think i might move my FLXS. as much as i adore it, gives me room to have the RML in rack and i haven't even touched it since i got a Deluge.

shape/sound really only switches the volt peak to peak as well as the range of the freqencuy. It's like fast/slow!
I meant lots to learn in terms of application, not how the module itself functions. Ive found that I really enjoy patching in a way that one element has multiple implications throughout a system, and the interconnected nature of Just Friends is something I'd like to exploit for that purpose.
Maybe it would be more appropriate to have said: lots to discover.

murf. Just Friends is so lusty. still really want a 3 Sistahs. need to sell some stuff first though.
newer 8 ho 3 Sloths shipping out Wednesday. i tried to dig the uO_c, just not really into it. going to list it for two fitty, i'd go a bit cheaper for ILF Home Brew Brouxs if anyone wanted one.

Lap steel into sewastopol, envelope out from sewastopol is controlling the volume of a vocal sample on the morphagene, which is mixed with some noise from Noise, and the 100% wet output from the delay is going into a filter with some more noise FM for extra fun. Quite like how this turned out so I'm going to tweak the patch and use it for a song.
