Re: The Video Game thread
I have been playing Gundam Breaker 3 on PSVita. RIYL loot, robots, mashing buttons. Feels like Diablo 3 with all the loot / customization, but robots. I like robots.

I always wanted to play that game but never had a PS/PSV. I love Gundam shit.

Rainbow 6 Outbreak is a super legit Left 4 Dead clone. Fun stuff.

My brother's telling me to just go and do ganon without finishing the shrines but it feels wrong to not have the right outfit

I understand some people make a beeline right after getting out of the first area. I'm not hardcore gamer enough for that. Took me this long not to be total shit at the combat system.MechaGodzilla wrote:My brother's telling me to just go and do ganon without finishing the shrines but it feels wrong to not have the right outfit

Yeah, I want to explore and experience the game before I even think about Ganon. Seems like most of the fun is the adventure to get there.

Re: The Video Game thread
The game is still remarkably fun post-Ganon. I plan to make a victory lap & fight him again once I've cleared all the shrines + DLC.
Also holy crap Nintendo KILLED it with their Direct yesterday. New Smash Bros confirmed for 2018, new Splatoon DLC (80 stage single player campaign), Okami remaster, Toad's Treasure thing, Undertale, Hyrule Warriors street date, and Crash Bandicoot remasters. Feeling very happy to be a Switch owner looking at this roster. Barring Undertale & Smash that only takes us through the summer, too! Hoping for a virtual console announcement with either E3 or their Online launch, but other than that I am pretty set with all this.

I love my switch, I just need to get a TV so I can get back on that pro controller love.
In other news, I'm playing Diablo 3 again. Somehow the seasons keep me coming back.

I'm glad I missed on the D3 train, now that it's being teased for the switch.worra wrote:I love my switch, I just need to get a TV so I can get back on that pro controller love.

Re: The Video Game thread
I have it on console (PS4) as well and I hate to say it but it's really a sub-par experience. PC or Mac is the way to go here, IMOInconuucl wrote:I'm glad I missed on the D3 train, now that it's being teased for the switch.worra wrote:I love my switch, I just need to get a TV so I can get back on that pro controller love.

To relieve life stress, I've been buying videogames. Because they're cheaper than pedals. Latest Xbox acquisitions are Halo Wars, Ninja Gaiden Black, and a preorder for Dangun Feveron. Also spent some time playing Path of Exile - it's a lot of fun, but I uninstalled because I need my games to have an end.

Re: The Video Game thread
I just finished as much as I feel like doing in BoTW right now. This might sound a little ridiculous, but I honestly think this game is a little too big. It’s overwhelming!
I’m tryna get suggestions for what to play on the Switch next. If anyone knows of any sleeper titles, let me know. I’m super into rogue-likes and rpg’s for the most part.
