Re: What is in the post? welcome to GWA: gear whores anonymo
Been scheming about what Im gonna put in that RD kit once I order it. Gonna try and replicate the weird wiring of my SG. GFS dream 180 in the neck, Mean 90 in the bridge. Both techinally bridge pickups. Both wired the way I wired my SG by accident that ended up with this nasally snarl in the middle position.
I'm also thinking of staining the wood Red so the grain is visible but it gets some color. But I've never done that before and im not sure how I would go about that/how difficult it is to do for a first timer. Anyone have any pointers for that?

I'll eventually stop messing around and get with the Elements.

I've been getting more into dirt options with clean blend parameters, and most ILFers seem to seriously dig The Elements. Also, if I read specs correctly, there appear to be both tubescreamer and HM-2 mid contours on tap. Definitely stoked and looking forward to loads of textural A/Bing with various options from my boost, overdrive, and fuzzy drive pedal drawers.

Reminder the LS-2 can add clean blend parameters to any of your favorite dirt pedals.
I want one in particular to add that functionality to Pretty Years, and workaround the footswitch ringing on some of the wilder settings.
Also to expand a PC-2A with parallel compression
With the Boss foot switch that's one satisfying stomp, anyway you rig it.

Re: What is in the post? welcome to GWA: gear whores anonymo
I have nothing in the post.
But for the first time in five years (outside of ILFsanta) I have plans to change this. Man, I'm behind. I know I want to get a good fuzz and a cool filter that I can use an exp pedal to do dub steppy fuzz things......I have years of gear to catch up on.

Admitting it is the first step. What kind of fuzz are you looking for?
