First forays with the patchulator...

Image

Running this in my mixer's effects loop, so I can shunt whatever input I want for freezing/glitching. Still have one in/out available, but temporarily out of cables/bench space.

Thinking of rolling a die to determine patch orders, to subvert my logic/expectations and mix things up.

That's awesome, Heraclitus! I've been meaning to get a patchulator since they came out, just haven't pulled the trigger. I like your idea of random patching to force some surprise noises.

I put together a new, medium sized, board Thursday night and I'm really happy with it so far...but I can see myself swapping one or two spots, for something similar, but fined tuned perhaps.
Im running it mono in stereo out. Mostly just leaving it on all the time on a slow pan. works well but could have a bit more depth IMHO.

This bigass Aclam board just fell into my lap dirt cheap via distributor blowout. Never had a board even close to this size, so I'm dry running to see what all I can get on there. Gonna have to buy a giant power supply now and do some real logistics.

 suddenly suppressing an urge to get [one] for a single row of big box pedals

These past few pages have been worthy of bookmarks-bar reference...you'd think there's a 2nd BILF18 incoming

One row is so fucking GOOD.

Don't get me wrong I play larger setups too but something about picking just a couple real doozies is great.

Yeah I'm pretty sold on single row boards. Something longer than the Nano + would be nice though.

I'm looking to make a bigger board about pt2 sized once schools over. Don't need to move it often at all so I don't really need a case, except to keep dust and hair and junk off of it which is a really huge reason.

I think I'm actually going to buy a cool blanket to sort of wrap it up in, then when I'm playing I'll be automatically on a cool rug/blanket. :animal:

Consider the $1/thinnest mil plastic drop cloth from your local hardware store's paint dept

Trying bigger stuff. I could drop the Robo and get one Minifooger on there, but I'd have to drop the Screamer Fuzz as well to make the cabling work. I really need to get one more big Fooger, then fill the last space with 2x Minifoogers. Also, this shit suddenly got heavy.

That's very beautiful to behold.

But in a tiny OCD part of my mind, the way that the moog logo is on three different places on bottoms of those is disappointing.
