Ah I was too slow!

Gonna dig w drumfuck tonight and debate whether or not to replace it w a different percussive module in similar hp.

Manis, BIA, Plaits, etc.

If I do would someone want the Drumfuck? I prefer the kick in the dfam is why I’m debating this.

I feel like I've deceived you guys; there's no real trades going right now. Just imaginary trades

So far Plaits is working incredibly well as a second oscillator to pair with the M32. I've been messing with it in the detuned waveforms mode mixed with the M32 oscillator, which sounds amazing. I'll record something to share at some point.

But, I realised that if I switch out my Plaits (and Qu Mult), I'd have enough room to fit a Just Friends and I also know that I want a second oscillator and would like some extra envelopes to go along with the M32, so the Just Friends would fit very well.

OR I could switch out the Plaits with a Mangrove and I'd have 2-4hp for some king of envelope....?

also, i need to sit down with some videos and Cold Mac. i've been reading through the awesome Doudoroff article on it ( http://doudoroff.com/cold-mac/ ), and i feel like i understand a fair amount of what he's saying, but then i plug her up and have NO idea what i'm doing.

going to try to sit down with a scope and run through assloads of examples this weekend.

I have a show coming up and I think I'm going to use Just Friends as my main voice for that patch. Tonight I was sequencing it from Rene, taking three outputs through Three Sisters and all the outputs tuned mostly to unison. I'm using the unquantized output of Rene to change the Intone to detune the outputs, but it's heavily attenuated so it just kinda thickens the oscillators more depending on the step. Sounds so, so nice.
