Just received a DOD FX 50B Overdrive Plus and a Boss PH-3 Phase Shifter courtesy of good deals on Ebay. The Step Phaser on the Phase Shifter is fabulous; my son and I wrote a song using it this morning - it's much less harsh than the Digitech Hyper Phase's step phaser which is the only other step phaser I have. The DOD FX50B is a clean boost pedal that suddenly (at the end of the sweep of one knob becomes a strong over drive pedal - but it has a good sound and for £16 you can't say no! Does anyone know where to get spare knobs for old DOD pedals please? This one has a broken Tone knob and I'd like to make it look less ugly by fixing that part. They are the push on type (no grub screw)

these things are drone heaven I slacked on a $200 resonator at the gc around here a year ago or so..was in love with how it sounded and played but I just figured naaahh no one's going to buy this thing it looks like shit i'll get it next time...nope still kicking myself for it

I played one of these when they came out in 03 was really impressed but I wasn't doing acoustic music or drone let alone acoustic drone... and then you never could find one for the longest time.. now.. update... sell said he sold it to someone else at a store... but I will not be stopped! I found a dreadnought shaped one for the same price and it's from a store I've dealt with before so hopefully this one is the one..

They look similar to the EHC 569 knobs, but I think the DOD knobs are less narrow. I've definitely seen similar knobs from other OEMs in recent catalogs and kits.

If you look around long enough, you ought to be able to find an NOS set, but it's likely cheaper to just buy another DOD pedal. There's a guy on eBay (US) with a set of 3, but they're expensive and fairly gnarled. Good luck.

They are in the 550-800 range depending on... Actually I'm not sure as they all seem to be in the same condition.. It's a shame they didn't take off 15 years ago
