I got a buddy that has a big nebula graphic on the face of his GK RB800. A matching cab like yours would be sexxxy

Jared from Mauler cabs built my shit, he's on here actually too, although he just hangs out in the doom room. Cabs are solid AF.nogodsnobedtimes wrote:I got a buddy that has a big nebula graphic on the face of his GK RB800. A matching cab like yours would be sexxxy

Just joined the ampeg crew after wanting a v4/vt22 for so long. Someone turned this vt22 into a head, but it has KT88s and a DIY master volume. I'm a little nervous to have someone look through it, but also nervous it'll blow up if I don't lol.
Also I forgot how to embed pictures, since the last time I posted one on here forever ago

Re: Let's see your AMP!
Thanks guys I really love it so far. The gain is somewhat similar to the Peavey (Earth amps are Peavey copy so you would expect that, even if one is a PA and one is a bass amp) but I'd say if I jump channels on the Peavey I can get more gain then with the Earth. The Peavey also has the spring reverb advantage. What really shines on the Earth IMO is the graphic EQ, I can get so much bottom end out of this amp with my guitar it sounds amazing. It's going through four 10 inches guitar speaker and I can get some serious bass, imagine through a 2x15 or something

I'm such an idiot, I tried it before buying it and it was so powerful. Brought it home plugged it and it sounded really quiet. I was pushing it pretty hard and it almost made no sounds. Freaked out for a minute or two until I realized it was going through my attenuator at almost to maximum attenuation setting
I really don't understand how it still works, that attenuator is rated for 10W and I'm pushing those two monster (120W and 240W) throught it and it doesn't even heat up or anything. Works perfectly

Talk to me about the GK 800RB. I've wanted on forever and keep ending up with other amps for whatever reasons, but I think I'm just gonna switch it up and grab an RB.
I've got a Rumble 1x15 cab coming in the next couple days, think that would pair well with an 800RB?

800rb is a staple. Very similar to peavey.
Cheap, good power, larger than anything new but sounds fucking fantastic

That’s all you need, my dude. For the band SUMAC, Brian Cook is running through two 800RB by Gallien Krueger.
