HC-TT is heaps of fun... even more so when used with effects. I've been using it in combination with W/ to build broken beats and other sonic beds. I've only had about 10 minutes with it and the PT Delay, but I can already tell that I've made some Good Life Choices...MrNovember wrote:Ooh man, that looks fun! I've wanted one of the HC-TT for awhile. Pretty excited about the new version

HC-TT II looks mad... I've had this one for a couple of years, though, and not sure I need any of the new features. We'll see, though... I could be... CONVINCED.
I do not get the whole retro-tape-culture thing (even though the HC-TT is a product of that) but that's beside the point... when I can get a box of tapes from Goodwill for $1, I've got HEAPS of content to mangle.behndy wrote:hee. so. it makes me feel olllllld. which is weird. because it's such an old tech that y'all are embracing.
but i do NOT get tape stuff.
Landscapes makes beauuuuuuuuuutifulllllllllll loots though. congrats! BUGGY TIMES.
Not to mention recording droning chords to a cassette and then being able to play them back with MAXIMUM WARBLE. Also, beats (see above).
This is what ultimately led me to the Monome Grid/White Whale (now Ansible) combo... a very playable sequencer that I can have fun with and not have to fight to make work. No knobs though...Muse FTW wrote:I've been thinking about paring down my modular a lil and get some more "jammable" sequencers to have fun with. Less screens/button combos, more knobbies.
