It was expensive, and it's as nasty as most octave fuzzes, but it's a cultured nastiness:

Cool! Will have a look at this, though I think now I do remember watching it and not "getting" it.

Re: What is in the post? welcome to GWA: gear whores anonymo
I'm having a rest from pedal buying right now, and a surprise influx of money means I no longer have to sell my second CT5, which I'm pleased about.
Despite that there are a couple of things incoming.
Item one is another power supply with daisy chain, which I've ordered because it'll give me a bit more freedom (hopefully) to move pedals about without them interfering with each other. Everything is pretty quiet at the moment but when I tried to chain a CT5 on the same supply as my Data Corrupter and Into The Unknown it drove them mental.
Item two is a Boss RC-50.
I was given it as a birthday gift by a friend a couple of years ago (it was already in my house as I'd borrowed it from him) and lent it back to him a while ago.
I asked if he was using it at the moment as while I have a Boss RC-1, I wanted to put at the beginning and at the end of my pedal chain, and while I was thinking about picking up a second one (or maybe a Ditto) it occurred to me that it would be easier (and cheaper) to get my RC-50 back.
So this might be my last "what's in the post?" post for a while*
*which means I'll probably have bought something by the end of the day.
