Marbles is fricking awesome.

Uuuuhhhggghhh I’m trading some shit to someone on another forum for a Tip-top Mantis, I’m totally out of room in my HEK and I’m starting to reach the limitations of the power supply. The person I’m trading with ordered from the last Monorocket run and she’s waiting for that case to show up to send the Mantis my way.

Last week she got a tracking number and I was like “fuck it, it’s on” and ordered some shit so I can fill the case and have a fricking banging 6u.

A week later and the tracking still says “pending”. Dude built the case, apparently boxed it up, paid for shipping, but hasn’t dropped it off a FedEx (a whole other mess) for over a week.

Meanwhile I’ve got all these beautiful modules just waiting for a home.

I realize that this is the ultimate first world problem, but it’s still annoying that it’s taking this long to drop a box off.

Also I’m going to be so fucking overwhelmed when I have all my shit in one rack and I’ve had limited time with most of it :!!!:

All of the 7U Intellijel cases seem scarce at dealers, and they're all out of stock via their own shop... makes me wonder if there's a rev coming to the design... :idk:

AYOOO Delta! That pic is still busted, I need to see the euronana hotness! :joy:

I have seriously considered this. I have two MI Peaks in my rack because I found a second one used for one hundo and have no regrets.

I get the feeling that they just don't do big batches. Even a lot of their modules seem out of stock in many shops.

It's nice to have one free for melodic parts and another just doing a basic kit. Stages sequences Plaits as a drum kit really well.
Currently I use Metropolis to trigger the first Plaits and use the divided clock out to trigger the percussion. Super basic set up but works for now.

That Pulsar-23 looks amazing but cannot believe they went with the alligator clips. I have some old Ciat-Lonbarde gear that uses alligator clips and I strongly dislike using the alligator clips. If ever a version of the Pulsar-23 comes out with real jacks instead of clip posts I will likely "insta-buy" because I love drum machines. In this instance, the alligator clips make my purchase of a Pulsar-23 imaginary. I am willing to pay a high price for a Pulsar-23 with real jacks.

Mannequins Rip and Sonic Penrose incoming... Rip will likely bounce the uO_c from my rig (anyone looking for one?) but complete the "skiff as instrument" idea...

Penrose was a straight up impulse buy (stupid money sitting in Paypal)...

I’ve played a couple of the bigger CL synths and... I... don’t really GET them. I’ve heard some really great and really interesting and supremely GODAWFUL music made with same.

I’d probably hit a Tetrax, though... that one seems to make the most sense (probably because there’s only so much going on).

I'm with you on that. Haven't played any actual CL stuff, but have played all the Ieaskul F Mobenthy modules and as much as I love the ideas behind all his stuff, it's just too much work to tame and actually get good sounds out of it. I much prefer making weird noises with a more straightforward synth
