Tall font green Russian muff.

So excited about this thing. I had a civil war muff that I got real cheap some years ago. Stupidly sold it for real cheap when I was desperate for money. I've always regretted it and kicked myself for it. The price on all the Russian muffs are so crazy that I thought I'd never get another one. Especially since civil war muffs are all like $700 or more now. Then I found this tall font for a pretty good price. Way more than I paid for my old civil war, but still within the range of normal dirt pedal price. I have a little money in my pocket so I jumped on it. Same circuit as the civil war and I figure these will only get crazier in price. Probably my last chance to get back the one that got away, so to speak. I know there's other ways to get close to the sound, but I've never been able to nail it perfectly, and for this price it'll be cool to have the real thing. I've been planning on buying the reissue, but it's based on the bubble font. Sounds real close, but isn't quite the same as the civil war/tall font.

Not that I'm aware of at the moment but PM me for some build notes if you feel like building your own. I have a few improvements to the circuit.

Generation Loss Noise Mod incoming, pretty pumped as the Noise knob is far and away the weakest part of the original imo. Mod sounds way more interesting and usable and is also affected by the filters now.

Also, vintage Duncan Distortion coming for a very, very early Jackson RR that fell into my lap a couple months back.

i bought this, thinking I could simplify my board and use it to replace the Echo Park and the DE7...but then I remembered that I have an EHX 360 looper in between them and now I'm stupid and angry that I didn't think of that at all before spending the $175. :whateva: :whateva: :whateva: :whateva: :whateva:

Alto music is currently offering the Moog Minifooger Boost for $69.99 primed through Amazon. Mine should arrive before the end of the week and will be my fourth clearance purchase from this series. Was the chorus ever offered at a deep discount anywhere?
