Here's Mosby's new toy, the de Lisle Nickel Box.

So this may be the wrong thread to ask questions, saw an amp on reverb, a carlsbro cs60tc, I keep on seeing either shit reviews or review calling it a plexi/hiwatt bastard in a good way? Any thoughts?

It was built locally buy a guy who does it all by hand.
He's been building amps for guys here in St. John's for 6 years now.
Most touch responsive amp I've played.

I've had a few and use a Carlsbro PA60R as my main amp. They are really solid valve amps with the same parts as you'd find in any other high end British amp of the era - Orange, Marshall, Hiwatt, just arranged in a different order! People have said my PA60 sounds like a Hiwatt. For the price you can pick these up for in the UK they are amazing value.

I think they're more like a selmer than anything as iconic as marshall/OrMat/Hiwatt

Right now I'm using two Super Reverbs, a '77 4x10 and a heavily modded '79 1x15. To say that this is stupidly excessive for playing at home (and doing some home recording) is a massive understatement.

Here’s my current amp. Sunn Model T clone built by Ned Clayton, otherwise known as a Hex Model X. The cab is a Tyrant Tone 2x12 with two eminence delta 12a pros.

this is very cool!

May be a weird request but can I see pics of the back of that Sunn clone?

Looks glorious and from what I can tell well put together
