I think this is one of the albums I'm most proud of. It just took forever to make because our engineer was on the road so much. Our first EP was pretty good too, waaaaay back in 2005. :?: :wha?:

FFO: Failure, Low, Juno, True Widow, If These Trees Could Talk

I've been trying to log in for a fucking month and kept getting shut out.

My band just put out our first album finally, and I'm really excited about it.

Here's the bandcamp page for Pyramids, one of my old bands: https://pyramidsofphiladelphia.bandcamp.com/

I don't know that any of my other bands still have internet presences of any sort. In First Person's bandcamp appears to just be the demo they recorded after I quit.

Since my last post I've started putting up bandcamps for all my old bands. Here's the (short-lived) Holy Fucking Spirit: https://holyfuckingspirit.bandcamp.com/

this is the prettiest thing i have ever done in my life. it's good when you make music you can listen to on repeat.

this was my friend and i in my living room -- he's doing some moog synth stuff in the beginning before coming in on fretless bass later. i'm doing all guitar loops and the underlying bass line.

Take Down Your Art: https://takedownyourart.bandcamp.com/

This was another short-lived band that existed mostly concurrently with the Holy Fucking Spirit. I loved playing with this band and I'm proud of our body of work, but thinking back about it all is actually pretty painful for me. We had really bad luck, and I ended up burning a lot of bridges and taking a lot of blame in the process of trying to get our records out. That's not to say I was blameless. I'm a stubborn piece of shit, which makes me difficult to work with; and I've battled depression most of my adult life, which makes me prone to serious procrastination. I definitely own my fair share of blame, but at the end of the day I ended up eating all of it for this band; a legacy of lost friends.
