This whole rig is giving me life, but especially the Tungsten Buckwheat. I *never* like amps with a single speaker in a band situation, but this thing works.
That said, I think I'm going to get the extension cab for it soon.
Maybe partying will help.

I've been enjoying a pair of 6V6 pushing four tens via a pairing of DuKane amplification and a Traynor cab. The Ovation Viper and an RMA Tetanus Booster complete the picture.

Noice! I like 6v6s too man. But I'm going to see if I can play around with a B+ toggle on my Vibrochamp clone to run a 6L6 too if wanted. ..

How do them 10s sound?

They sound decent, a bit rounded out in the lower registers compared to my usual larger diameter in a vented or horn loaded cab fare. With my mind set in "supporting the strengths and weaknesses of a PA grade transformer" everything sounds correct, if that makes any sense. Nothing spectacular but welcoming nonetheless sort of sound, I've read that the stock speakers have room for improvement, but I'm enjoying them as-is enough to not bother.

I'd love to see what you come up with regarding the Champ clone.

Thanks! Me too, once I ignore all the floor space currently lost to me.

It has a G12H-30. Sounds great, but I'm curious about how a Scumback will sound, but I want new speakers for the '62 Concert first.
Maybe partying will help.
