Monster Hunter World PC is pretty good.
I'm using a controller over KB/m. Seemed like a good game to use controller for. Use KB/m all day at work, then game at night......lack of precise aiming mostly seemed like a good option to utilize controller. Only other game I use it for is Rocket League.

I have a decent PC and it runs well for me (1080 & i7-4790K).
It's definitely a bit lazy though. it's not much of an improvement from console.
It doesn't have the polish I've grown to enjoy after switching to PC.
People are getting angry about the issues (that will be patched) but to me, it's the only way I can play MH on PC.
Runs like crap on CPUs before Gen 4. or older graphics cards.
Lack of support for various uber PC options. 21:9 ratio. blah blah blah
Mouse control feels like a joystick. floaty.
issues with random errors and not launching properly.
internet connection errors.
etc....

Got about 1 hour in. Did 3 hunts.
Mostly overwhelmed with the depth and not understanding that depth.
I can see how hard it will become. It's not a button mash/hackNslash casual type game.
Will keep pushing it and try to learn wtf is going on.
How and when to keep min/max'ing as I progress.

The hardest part of any new game, imo, is learning their lingo, systems and terminology.
Certain games just click and it makes sense. Games like MH require a lot more work. Especially names of stuff....in my case.

I'm mostly sad to wish farewell to my friends and family and sink as much of my life into this game as I can. (and warframe)

Interesting stuff! I've been slightly interested in monster hunter games for years but I only ever have a PC. May look more into this...

Nothing has been hitting it with me, played so much R6 that I still want to keep it feeling fresh so want to have a short break. Randomly decided to replay Diablo 3, don't remember a thing about it since I played it way back then and it seems to have been updated a lot. I haven't got the expansion pack or new class DLC, but I never played Barbarian so yeah.

The new Metal Gear art book is due to be delivered on Monday so I presume that'll call for another series marathon

Slowly building up reasons to get a Switch

Smash
Zelda
Mario Kart
Metroid Prime
Blaster Master Zero
a bunch of exclusive shmups...

Maybe next year. If they drop some Wii/Wii U bombs like Sin and Punishment, I'll probably get in sooner.

I am enjoying this game. It's kinda like LSD: Dream Emulator. And like 6bux on Steam right now.

Holy hell, Ghost Recon Wildlands is the most soulless and boring AAA game that i've played in years. I figured that I would try it when it was $20 and I was kind of curious about the Splinter Cell and Rainbow 6 crossover, but I doubt that I would even get that far.

I might just try and find a save file with everything unlocked so I don't have to listen to the terrible dialogue and play without a HUD.

Hmm, I'm still thinking about it - but it seems like a more fleshed out Deus Ex:HR/MD hub world but without the stealthy and improvised combat mechanics. I just hope that you don't have to go through shooting galleries every quest, that shit is so old and RPGs are at their best when you make it work without confrontations.

Still, if you can rock the classic Pistol and Katana combo, i'm happy :thumb:

Guacamelee 2 is really good, proper old school sequel. I will never 100% it bc there's some hard as nails chicken platforming.

I can't wait to see what the game looks like once they get past the "pre-alpha" stage.
It looks like a busy, futuristic version of GTA with a CoD perspective, right now, but I imagine there's probably gonna be, at least, another year or two of development for it.
