Glad to have some influence. I will say, make sure you read a couple of threads on muffs about it. There isn’t a manual on it and it has some normalizations that you need to know about. They make sense, but they’ll also make you think something is broken. Also, on both sides, it might seem like the knobs do nothing on half the travel of it. That’s because noon is about 20 Hz. So it’s doing stuff, but we can’t hear it. It’s there to annoy elephants and also makes sense when you think about pinging a vactrol. You can also get around it by putting in an offset on the key or ext input.Dark Barn wrote:This post convinced me to watch some demos, and finally saw a used one posted for a nice price and jumped on it. If I fall in love it will replace my Three Sisters and uVCF (had two uVCF so have been looking to ditch this anyways!)yeatsvisitslincoln wrote:HOLY FUCK YOU GUYS. I got my Dual Borg in today and it's a god damn beast. I had the Filter 8 in a couple months ago and was excited, but it wore off quickly. It's good, sure. But the Dual Borg just blows it out of the water for me. I guess there's something to be said for the classic architectures it's based off of.
Also, I will say I’ve talked to a few people about filters and I’ve been told to get 3 sisters in a few occasions in the past couple weeks based on what I want to do. I don’t have one, but they’re different beasts from what I understand. That being said, I’d probably be willing to buy yours off you if you wanna sell!
