I m watching demos of this one from a couple of days and I must say I m really intrigued by the heterodyne modulator side of it. Plus it has a simple tremolo that I could finally place in the board (top mounted jacks Yasss). Anyone got some experiences with it or with Lifeisunfair stuff in general?
I have polysynth GAS and I don’t know what to do about it. Nothing quite lines up with what I want:
-small (can easily fit in a backpack)
-analog
-battery powered
-two adsr envelopes
-two LFOs
-at least two VCOs
-arpeggiator
-transposable sequencer
-under $1k
-can sync to a click (gate/trigger/volca/etc)
There’s a lot of stuff that’s close to this, but nothing I’ve found really scratches this itch.

good luck finding a small analouge poly with that much features. I would advise strongly to go after a VA instead and maybe give up getting a small one aswell, you wont get much at all in terms of interface
imagine finding out your son is your daughter & she's into noise music
Who's got a looper they like using with desktop synths? I'm looking to round out some multi part songs so I can play live but I'll need a looper. I'm leaning towards the 720 again cuz I'm used to it and it has 1/2 speed and reverse functions, but if there's anything else I should consider I'm all ears.

Nothing VA ticks all these boxes either. And I’d have to get five-foot long backback and $2k to get a synth that has most of these features. The JP08, on the other hand, also has most of these features and can easily be had for under 400.
I’m definitely not compromising on having a good interface. If it sucks to use then I don’t want it, regardless of price/features.

I bought a DOD FX7 at a yard sale for $5. I can understand why it was so maligned back in the '90s, because every setting sounds like every record released in 1987... which is awesome, frankly.
Also, this showed up, which I'm currently playing through said DOD into a Carr Rambler, which must be violating some kind of TGP statute.
