also, Ansible is heeeereeee. the synth i sent in trade is Out For Delivery according to tracking, and.... i'm a little worried. dood seems fine, we conversed a bit, i found his business/music site on the webs and found him on IG, but i didn't notice till i'd sent off loots that he only has 51 posts on Muffs.

which isn't awful, it's a little concerning because this is a trade with no PayPal or any other agency to go to as a I Got Fucked recourse and then.... he said when he shipped they were out of paper and couldn't print him a receipt, so no tracking. which, yes, it's the holidays, USPS is CRAZY busy but.... i've never had that happen.

so. hoping i didn't get fucked. if it DID go out Monday, it should be here tomorrow or Friday. fingers, and other appendages, CROSSED.

edit - reread the message, home boy said he dropped it off at a SHIPPING KIOSK that was out of receipt paper. so. makes a BIT more sense.

also, apparently Muffs is like $1,700 in debt for hosting costs and dooder is asking for donations. i sent a hundy, because i use the site a ton but QUESTIONS arise. a lot of people are annoyed that community monetary support doesn't equal community input on how things run, i don't care about that at ALL. but some questions do arise....

01) there is NO backup. if Mike guy stops/gets sick/dies the site just.... goes away apparently? that seems a bad design.

02) the whole name thing again. i don't find it offensive, just silly. i was more turned off because of how much i.... dislike... EHX. but mebbe i'm coming from the wrong place? i DO actually think of pedals and knob turning, not Hirsute Vagina Manipulations. is the name that bad?

I mean when my lady saw my browser history and it said ilovefuzz and muffwiggler up and down she was a bit....concerned until I explained it’s nerd forums about nerd music. I donated yesterday, but yeah there’s gotta be a way to make it not so.... stupid? The e370 shipment keeps getting fucking pushed back. Went from “July-August” to now me hoping I get it in January at some point. In the mean time I built a 7U system based on quad modules. Just missing Zadar and the damn 370.

I've literally never used the sensor part of my Field Kit because I didn't even know where to start. This seems to be a perfect place to start and a great way to get some really cool CV sources

Well, the guitar I had my eyes on has been spoken for before I had a chance to try it out, so in a rash decision I splurged on a ton of new modules.

Hopefully I'm happy with them. Getting a buttload straight from Noise Engineering + trying out the Black Hole DSP2, Alright's T-Wrex and Chronoblob 2, some ALM shit, and that WMD mixer.

Anyone have experience with Erica Synth cases? Been thinking about getting one of their BIIIIG ones (3x126hp) but it's hard to find consensus about them online.
