Wanted to get something a little different for home use. Has an FX loop so I'm hoping to get something nice for headphone use and direct recording of the shit I'm writing. Still have my Rockerverb MKII for live/practice but I am gonna sell the VTM120 since it's sitting unused now.

Got a pitch fork after wanting a pitch shifter for years. I don't think it's actually my thing after all. Gonna flip it and get a ring mod.

I think it will really sit well with my noisy band. The other dudes are wary of new and weird effects but all I have to say is Man or Astroman and they'll be on board.

It's a fantastic fuzz, but through my amp/guits, I can cop tones from both relics. Definitely gets me some Pete Cosey vibes, as well as Robby Krieger.

I can report the thread title is in fact a truism, since I ended up abusing the long reverbs I had on hand waiting for the Lexicon MPX500 to show.

Then ran through factory preset hell, and have many more to go - except it's actually more like factory preset whoa for the "special effects" sections. Ridiculously high quality sound on sound Frippertronics looper/infinite delay with headroom that doesn't quit, weird trippy pitch shifting everything, and..that's just on its own.

If this is what level of creativity I can buy for $100 for the next few weeks (and never use again, which ain't gonna happen, but...)....I'd like another few boxies.

Stack that angled 2x12 on top of a 4x12 and let ‘er rip!
Wow. That’s a beaut, Clark.

thanks, dudes! we shall see! definitely has more bells and whistles than any amp I've had before, but it seems like a helluva machine.
I ordered some Alnico Creams to go in the cab, crossing my fingers those expensive bastards are as good as advertised. Clips sound great, but who knows?

Also just traded a TVL Jazzmaster for this thing and a little cash.

It's a parts Strat but all excellent stuff - MJT alder body, USACG flame maple neck with stainless 6105 frets and a big soft v profile, 10-14" fretboard radius, Suhr pickups, nice wiring harness with bridge tone control, Callaham trem assembly and steel block.
Maybe partying will help.

that's incredibly nice. I actually have a charcoal frost tele body from mjt that's being finished off rn with an allparts neck. their cfm doesn't look like a lot of others' for some reason but it's really cool.
