NIFTY.

so..... who here has a Norn? apparently got one coming in from a deal where i gave up things i cared zero for that fell apart, cuddled itself in a back alley for a day or two, then showed up again, alight with the medicinally furious glow of a meth and Flintstone Vitamins recovery binge.

can one plug an Arc (and/or a Grid WHEN I GET SOMETHING ELSE I REALLY DON'T NEED) straight into it? and run more different optional interface doogals than with an Ansible?

I don't know about Arc, but you can definitely plug Grid directly into Norns and be on your way to bloopy goodness.

Here's the order link if anyone is interested: https://goo.gl/forms/vUupExFurFOXS0vu1
Also, the 16n page: https://16n-faderbank.github.io/
Still haven't got it and not sure if they're still taking orders, but that's where I ordered mine from

Yeah, I have mine on order from MSW via that thread as well. I think he closed up the order but some other people have said they'd be building some runs.

Arc support is coming in a near-future Norns update...

16 days ago he said he was cutting off the order in 5 days. I don't know if you have an account on lines but some other people in the group buy thread are taking on orders.

Whoa, that Hypnosis is beautiful. Huge 80s vibe! It would be perfect paired with my DX7 and/or Poly 800. All the 80s!
I can't stop thinking about this thing. It fits in so well with the current sound I'm going for (I might be listening to too much synthwave :idk:). Also, since I'm barely using modular, I really don't care about the lack of CV; it's kind of weird they wouldn't include any CV at all, but I probably wouldn't use it, so I'm not too worried about that. Anyways, I like the size, the aesthetics, and the sounds I've heard from it.
My next purchases are going to be a pair of studio monitors, a new mixer, and a new bass. Likely in that order unless I can find a good deal somewhere. If I can free up some more funds, I'll probably add this to the list as well

I just scored a deal on an ADDAC 302 nCHUNK Nintendo Wii Controller ---> CV module. I am going to shake the shit out of the controller to cause chaos free jazz drums and I'm very excited about it.

Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!
